How does the web design process work at Web Design Village?

We start by working with you to understand your vision for your web site. We then construct a proposal for your review complete with pricing and timelines for your project. After you approve the proposal we require a minimum deposit.

Once the deposit is secure, we construct a mock site for your review. Via the mock site you can offer feedback, makes change and see how visitors to your site will view your new web site. Once, you as the client approve the site we move your site to it's permanent location on the web. In most cases we can also provide you with your web site on a CD.

Will I own the web site once it is complete?

Yes. Once a project is finalized you maintain ownership of your web site.

How much does web design cost?

The price for the design of a web site varies just as greatly as varies the specific unique needs of customers. The price of your web site will depend on the size of the site (number of pages), the relative complexity of the site's design, the number and integration of graphics in your web site, the use of scripting and advanced HTML elements, as well as the web hosting, maintenance and other elements you may add on to your web design package.

We have a variety of pre-priced special packages to choose from or we can create a package based specifically on your organization's needs.

Can I add pages at a later time?

Yes, all of our packages are upgradeable, you can add more pages at anytime. Please note there may be additional fees for the addition of pages.

Can I just have my web site designed without also getting web hosting, a maintenance plan, domain hosting, or any of the other extra services?

Yes. We can simply construct your site and upload it to the host of your choice. Again, we can even provide you with a copy of your new site on CD for your records.

Will I be able to give input while my custom site is being built?

Yes, we encourage your feedback throughout the entire design process. For our custom sites we design each site on a client specific basis.

We build a mock site prior to your permanent site for your review. Via the mock site you'll be able to offer feedback, make changes and update the content for your site. We don't post a web site until you approve and finalize your mock site.

I need a web site ASAP, what are all the fees associated with getting a basic informative web site on the  internet?

To get a basic informative site on the internet you will need to pay for the design of a web site, purchase a domain name and secure hosting. Luckily, all three can be handled by Web Design Village and for as little as $99.99!!!

What if I am not happy with my design?

Impossible, our check point system does not allow us to move forward unless you approve our work. We work with you to come up with an end product that you're happy with.

How does payment work?

We currently have a 50/500 policy for all of our standard contract, meaning that the deposit amount for any project is 50% of the total project or $500 whichever is greater. For projects under $500 payment in full is due up front. Also for rush jobs, a greater deposit amount may be required to commence a project. The remaining balance will be required once the site is complete and you provide the authorization to make your mock site live. Once final payment posts to your account your site is finalized and posts automatically to the web. Please note deposits are non-refundable.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We currently except most major credit cards including: Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover, as well as Check, Money Order and Certified Checks (i.e. Cashier's Check) made payable to {Distressed Money Solutions}.

How long will it be before my web site is up on the internet?

Turnaround time depends on the complexity of your web project. Before we begin on your project we give you a detailed estimated timeline for your project.

How do I get listed in the major search engines such as Google.com, Yahoo.com, and MSN.com?

We have multiple packages that will allow your web site to be found in all the major search engines under your company name and packages that will get you placed towards the top of major search engines under popular key phrases used by your target market.

Will I be able to check how much traffic is visiting my web site?

How do I get on the first page of major search engines?

A couple of ways. One we can get you listed organically, meaning you will be found under actual search engine listings not the pay-per-click ads you see running along the right side and atop of the major search engines.

Secondly, you can get listed on the first page of major search engine's using the previously mentioned pay-per-click ads found on the right side and atop of the major search engines.

I already have a web site, can I still get search engine optimization?

Yes, however we will need access to your web site before we can predict your search engine placement success.

Why is search engine placement not 100% guaranteed?

We do not own the search engines. Each search engine has a formula for how they rank their web sites. If the search engines change their formula, it is possible for your site's rankings to be affected. Be weary of any firms that guarantee overnight success with SEO programs. Typically, the methods they use are either unethical or illegal.
